This is an introduction to the costal Croatia. From the city Zadar down to Dubrovnik.
Croatia has some of the most beautiful coasts with crystal clear water. And with over a thousand islands, it's no problem to find a quiet, small fisherman's village and enjoy the summer. The people are very friendly and the seafood is one of the best in Europe. Believe me you will not forget your first swim in the clear Adriatic Sea.
Captial: Sarajevo; 43°52′N 18°25′E / 43.867°N 18.417°E

Get ready to experience an unique country for travelers who enjoy nature and rare culture. Bosnia & Herzegovina is rich in forests, rivers and lush mountains.
And its cities are a reminder of the olden times, with bastions, castles and Ottoman inspired architecture.
The natives are a very friendly people and will invite you in for coffee at any time. So pack your bags and explore this beautiful country.

The Balkans are perfect for road tripping. The driving distances are short and navigating is very easy.
I will try to give you some suggestions for a roundtrip with some hot spots and tips.
From the beautiful coastal drive of Croatia to the winding mountain roads of Bosnia & Herzegovina.

We love camping in the Balkan. For few euros you can stay right next to the beach and jump in the water from your tent or caravan.
Camping is a popular holiday style, so most of the camp sites are very well mantained and clean, with very nice staff.
Have a look at some of the camp sites we have stayed at!
Enjoy!
